Want to meet Wyland? The Brand New Norwegian Bliss

“Humans cannot discover new oceans unless they have the courage to lose sight of the shore.” – Andre Gide

Meeting Wyland on the NCL ship that he painted was wonderful. He is a true ambassador for the ocean.

Wyland painting on Norwegian Bliss

Wyland has painted with over one million children.
Renowned marine life artist Wyland changed the way people think about our environment when he started painting life-size whales on the sides of buildings in the 1980s. Wyland always thought big. And he never stopped. Today, the Wyland name has become synonymous with the new generation of awareness about environmental conservation. Through his unique marine life paintings, sculptures, and photography, Wyland has inspired a generation about the importance of marine life conservation.

Norwegian Bliss by Lisa Niver

Enjoy our adventures on the Norwegian Bliss inaugural sailing! I loved sailing with Carolann and Macrae from One Modern Couple and Cacinda Maloney from Points and Travel. I hope you enjoy our video tour of the ship with hula-hooping!

This ship has a two-level electric-car race track, the tandem Aqua Racer slide and an open-air laser tag course themed like an abandoned space station. For entertainment, get wowed by the entertainment options including the Tony-Award winning musical Jersey Boys, and The Cavern Club, where a Beatles cover band brings the magic of Liverpool to the sea. I loved the Spa with a snow room, a salt room and sauna. If you love dessert, make sure to visit Coco’s, the à la carte dessert venue. Do you love Teppanyaki for Japanese hibachi? They have that too!
