The Garden of Serenity (Japan)

How the Photo was Taken

I took this photo with mi Sony a6000 (a mirrorless camera) and a zoom lens (16-70mm). I didn’t use any filters nor any other equipment actually. The picture was taken hand-held and I had to wait for quite a while since the place was packed with people. Most unfortunately, it wasn’t a RAW file, it’s a common JPG which I edited later in Lightroom just to add more life to it.

Photo Location

I took this photo at Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion), at Kyoto, Japan. It was around springtime, on May 2018. I visited the temple almost at closing hours, so I guess it was around 5 or 6 o'clock. I would've loved to take pictures later that day in order to catch the blue or golden hour, but it just wasn't possible due to closing hours.
