How the Photo was Taken

This photo was taken on a Nikon D7200; f/8; 1/30 second.

This image was taken raw and imported to lightroom.

Photo Location

This photo was taken at sunrise atop Poon Hill, Nepal in the Annapurna range of the Himalayas. My wife and I spent a month in Nepal and four dreamy days hiking in the Himalayas. To be in these massive mountains was a place we have always wanted to experience. It felt like another world up there, hiking to small tea houses, hearing the soft ringing of bells jingling around the necks of pack mules and enjoying steaming hot mugs of tea with generous chunks of real ginger and mint floating around in them. We saw strong conservation efforts up in these mountains and we were so thankful to have the ability to have had this opportunity.
