Welcome to my new series: TELL ME MORE ABOUT: where I will be sharing resources from my favorite past adventures around our planet during this time when we cannot travel due to COVID-19. In the next weeks, I will share about all 10 trips in my recent article on Ms Magazine and I wanted you to have access to the photos, articles and videos that I produced from these experiences. For now, I hope you find inspiration until we can all begin to wander around the world again.
My first safari in Africa was in Tanzania and Kenya with Abercrombie and Kent. It was also my 100th and 101st country visited which was an exciting part of my 50 things before I turned 50 project.
I created many videos and wrote articles for Jewish Journal, USA Today 10best, Ms. Magazine, my website, We Said Go Travel. I also was interviewed for Reader’s Digest and talked about my African safari. I posted many photos across my social media and you can see many of them in the A&K Facebook album below.

Ms. Magazine published my article: “10 Global Travel Adventures To Inspire Global Eco-Activism” which included my Safari in Africa!
Thank you to Ms. Magazine for publishing my story, “A Bicycle Built for Many!” about Chipego Bike shop in Nakatindi Village, Zambia in print on page 17 of the Winter 2019 issue. Thank you to Abercrombie and Kent Philanthropy for all of their help with this article.
Readers digest including me in their article about how “Life is an adventure!” and the photo and story were about my trip to Africa on safari.
