How the Photo was Taken

I used a Canon EOS M2 on a standard tripod. Shot had 1/2″, F/22, ISO 100 exposure. Photo was edited solely in Lightroom.

Photo Location

The photo was shot in Little Cottonwood Canyon on October 1st , 2017 in the early afternoon. I was originally going to hike to a water fall farther up the canyon, but was intrigued by the stream I could see out in the distance. I decided to go off the beaten path and check it out. The stream looked like it hadn't been hiked in months so I decided to leave a marker that someone had been there, hence the rock stack.
