Fading Tree Line in Colorado

Jul 8, 2018

How the Photo was Taken

I used my Canon Rebel sl1 with a 50mm lens to take this photo. Using Lightroom I adjusted the colors, contrast, and sharpened the image.

Photo Location

This photo was taken on the seemingly never ending drive to the top of Pikes Peak mountain in Colorado. The views were unforgettable yet what stood out to me most was the tree line starting to disappear, leaving us as high up as the clouds. A gorgeous afternoon in October, 2016 that I will never forget.
