The best time and place to watch a sunset in Venice Beach is everyday and everywhere on the beach, however sunset during the winter months are the most beautiful, dramatic and artistic when the colors are most concentrated and the sunsets drop directly west into the Pacific Ocean because summer months sunsets fall behind the Santa Mountains.
