Alvin EspinalI used a Nikon D7200 with a Sigma 17-70 lens. I set my camera to aperture priority mode, and I then manually set my aperture to 2.8, and my ISO to 1000. I took two shots, but this is the composition and angle I liked the most. In Lightroom, I changed the temperature to make the photo a little cooler, I then added some contrast, vibrance, and clarity, added some color correction, sharpened and added some noise reduction to my photo, and fixed my tone curve.
This photo was taken at a theater in downtown Manhattan, at around midday. The escalator instantly caught my eye, and I then took several pictures, trying out various angles and techniques. I love this photo's composition, as the escalator's rails pull your eye towards the middle of the frame, where there is a nice orange reflection.
