A Colorful Descent in NYC

How the Photo was Taken

I used a Nikon D7200 with a Sigma 17-70 lens. I set my camera to aperture priority mode, and I then manually set my aperture to 2.8, and my ISO to 1000. I took two shots, but this is the composition and angle I liked the most. In Lightroom, I changed the temperature to make the photo a little cooler, I then added some contrast, vibrance, and clarity, added some color correction, sharpened and added some noise reduction to my photo, and fixed my tone curve.

Photo Location

This photo was taken at a theater in downtown Manhattan, at around midday. The escalator instantly caught my eye, and I then took several pictures, trying out various angles and techniques. I love this photo's composition, as the escalator's rails pull your eye towards the middle of the frame, where there is a nice orange reflection.
