January NEWS: 2017 is already AMAZING at WeSaidGoTravel

I am truly honored by all of your support for We Said Go Travel. The site has grown and grown. In 2016, all of my social media accounts doubled. My video views went over 900,000 and I have met wonderful people and been in contact with important organizations.

Where did I go in January?

We Said GO Travel in Utah Jan 2017I went skiing in Park City, Utah at both Deer Valley and Park City Mountain. I stayed at Goldener Hirsch Inn which is truly incredible. I loved the Austrian chalet feeling all throughout the property. The video from the trip will be available soon.

My projects in New York City and Washington D.C. were FANTASTIC! Photos and video will be shared with you from the adventure shortly. I loved seeing the snow fall!

**Bravo TV: Lindsay Tigar quoted me in her article, “Should You Even Try to Speak the Language Abroad… Or Save Everyone the Embarrassment?” In Tansen, Nepal, I requested momo (local food) for dinner in Nepalese. The faces of the people at the restaurant/food stall were PRICELESS. I knew something was wrong but was not sure what so I asked again for my chicken momo. What I asked for was momo with dog and they were concerned that I actually wanted dog momo as opposed to it being my mispronunciation. In Nepalese: Dog is KUKURA, Chicken is CIKANA.
