Pink Pangea’s Tel Aviv-Jaffa Writing Retreat
If you’re looking to improve your writing and get some fresh perspective, Pink Pangea always has retreats and workshops! The next writing and yoga workshop, in Tel Aviv-Jaffa, Israel, will help participants connect with their inner voices. The retreat takes off May 23rd but spots are limited!
Transition Abroad’s Expatriate and Work Abroad Writing Contest
The deadline for this annual writing contest is coming up fast on May 15, 2016. All professionals, freelancers and aspiring writers with international work or study experience are encouraged to enter. Inspiring articles with in-depth practical descriptions of moving, living and working abroad are the most likely to win. Prizes: $500, $150 and $100 with runner-ups receiving $50 and publication.
Nat Geo’s Traveller Writing Award (open to UK residents)
Simply write 500 words on an inspirational experience. The winner will be published in the Nat GEO magazine/ website and snag an unforgettable trip to Madagascar worth over $8,000! Just 22 days left!
The SATW Annual Convention in Wenzhou, China
See the lesser known part of China and network with other talented travel writers. Coming up October 24th!
WSGT new Travel Writing Award
Starting in May, the WSGT contests will be no more and in their place, a brand new award! The submission period will run from May 4th to July 4th. More to be revealed shortly!
