Meet the Nomads: FLIP Interview

As Flip says, “Lisa and George are the owners and writers behind one of the newest blog that I’m following, We Said Go Travel. There’s a lot of useful articles that can be found in various destinations. Both Lisa and George are well travelled and have been to more than a hundred countries already (and still counting).

This is also a great blog for couples who are wondering what’s life like to travel with your partner for quite a long time. In 2008-09, the couple spent 11 months travelling in Asia and recently they left again last July for another year long travel.”

Lisa and George had the pleasure recently to be interviewed on Flipnomad.com.

Read the first question:

How did you discover your passion for travelling?

George: “I learned how much I loved to travel through my parents especially my mom. We took family trips to the Bahamas, Mexico, Hawaii and Israel. It was such a passion for her she even became a travel agent.”

Lisa: “I went on a teen tour to Israel for nine weeks one summer when I was sixteen with ninety other teens from Los Angeles and it changed my life. I loved being in Israel, I loved being away, and I loved speaking Hebrew. I wanted more so I chose to live in Jerusalem for a semester in college and then traveled for the whole summer. By then I was hooked!”
