Love, Life and Travel

“Later that day I got to thinking about relationships. There are those that open you up to something new and exotic, those that are old and familiar, those that bring up lots of questions, those that bring you somewhere unexpected, those that bring you far from where you started, and those that bring you back. But the most exciting, challenging and significant relationship of all is the one you have with yourself. And if you can find someone to love the you you love, well, that’s just fabulous.” Quote from Carrie (“Sex in the City”) when returning from France to  New York.

When I heard this quote, I knew I wanted to share it. I personally feel so fortunate to have George in my life as my travel partner and husband!

With Earth Day on April 22, I have been thinking of how we take care of the Earth and each other.  Please see my new Article: Science and Your Child: Connecting to Earth Day with Family Activities (also at LA MOM Magazine) for ideas to how to help the Earth. There are things you can do from your computer at home that really can make a difference!

Our next adventure will be to Taiwan for Passover from April 16-May 1, 2011.  We hope to see a special fisherman village pilgrimage which has the same dates as Passover.  I recently learned how to embed video so we will try to blog from Taiwan and share videos with you.

Please click this link to see my Purim Mishloach Manot of Song from Maccabeats which was the first video I learned to embed! The article has had 22 facebook shares and 233 clicks since Thursday! Thanks for reading and for all your comments! We really appreciate it.

Coming next: George’s article about our fantastic New Year’s Eve in Cartagena, Colombia.
