Are you wondering where to wander in 2016? I spent the day at the Los Angeles Travel and Adventure Show in Long Beach and got inspired by speakers, destinations and performances. Did you know that every year more than 130,000 travel enthusiasts come together in Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, San Diego, San Francisco, and Washington DC to meet authentic travel experts?
This was my second year at the show and I loved my day. Meeting Samantha Brown in person was the highlight for me. She gave an impassioned and helpful talk on making travel meaningful.
There are workshops, travel technology tips, musical performances and you can really get involved. Ride a segway, climb a rock wall, roll around in an inflatable bubble or meet an animal from the San Diego Zoo. Discover a new place for your bucket list like Fiji, Cambodia, Guatemala or New Zealand. There are cooking demonstrations from noted chefs and you can sample global cuisine.
Whatever you choose to do, get your passport ready because you will be ready to take off for a new place. I cannot wait to go again next year! Happy and Safe Travels!
