We talked about visiting Lake Tahoe in all seasons. I loved my trip in the Winter at the Expedition Kirkwood Women’s Ski Clinic and my days skiing at Heavenly with the incredible lake views and at Northstar for skiing, luxury and s’mores!
Recently I was in Tahoe for the opening of the Lake Club at The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe and loved the chance to kayak on the gorgeous blue lake!
The absolutely scariest of my 50 things project so far was mountain biking at Northstar. I did love it and I am so glad I did it. The team at the Specialized Bike Academy at Northstar California Resort in Lake Tahoe took such great care of me. I looked like IronMan in all the pads and gear. Even though it was unfamiliar to me, I felt comfortable with them and was willing to try something so new and so out of my comfort zone.
I cannot wait to use my Epic Pass and try a new mountain this year: Whistler! I love skiing at Park City, Utah and my first visits last year to the Tahoe resorts. Next season: CANADIAN SKIING is on my list!
